being three

so this morning we could not leave the house until we found our magic wand. of course, the one who needed the wand did not know where it would go or where it was placed. after searching and searching in the usual hiding places, tears and sadness was all that could be heard. and then...we found it! for future reference, the wand spins when the roll of tissue is being handled, making it "magic" (a neat trick that only a 3 year old could think of!).

the sun was out and the air temp was perfect, which meant for some outside time this afternoon. however, we could not venture outside until we found our princess headband. "what is a princess headband?" thankfully, the 3 year old knew what she was talking about (of course) and found it. and then we had to find the "outside shoes," which are pink clogs that are only worn on concrete (not wood flooring - PLEASE!). finally we are dressed and ready to go. now she says, "we need a treat."

ms. sophia braved the rough pullings of her sister. the corners were cut a little sharp...but she made it! it appears that little "so" may be looking back with question and fear? "save me mommy..."
