we welcome this sweet little boy into our home with such love and tenderness.
he took my breath away the moment i saw his face and touched his skin. i am a mother of a little boy, full of wonder and amazement.
"snips and snails and puppy dog tails -- that's what little boys are made of, made of..."
-- we think he's made of perfection.
he entered the world weighing eight pounds and five ounces, measuring twenty and one-half inches long. his sandy brown/blonde hair and warm rosy skin is soft and handsome. ohhhh, he is a snuggle-bug and prefers time being loved and kissed. he gets lots and lots of it too.

in his nineteen days of life we have been busy. so busy that mommy has neglected other areas of life...like email and blogging and sending timely "thank you's" to wonderful family, neighbors, and friends. grandma and grandpa came for a visit. soon afterwards, oma and opa came for a visit. we visited the pumpkin patch, enjoyed some swimming, and spent lots of time going on walks and at local parks. we have received many yummy dinners and generous gifts from so many lovely people. also, there have been many phone calls that are appreciated - thank you! eventually i am going to get organized... a little at a time.
