a few weeks ago we were in astoria again. because the girls have a recent fascination with jelly fish -- and other marine life -- we took a 3 hour drive down the oregon coastal highway 101 to the newport acquarium. of course it was well worth the drive. even in the mad rain storm.
perhaps i enjoyed the hands-on exhibits more than the children?
sharks are another point of interest. especially leopard and hammer head sharks.
did i mention the pouring rain that occurred ALL DAY? leif didn't mind one bit.
