thankfully we had two strong priesthood holders to carry some extra weight for us + an extra backpack or two! thank you very much!
daisy and kaitlin enjoying some down time on the way up the trail.
lisa, natalie, mckensey, kenley, daisy, kaitlin, nicole,
mcelle, stephanie, mackenzie, miranda, and tasha were
the 4th year girls this year! brother and sister houser
joined brother and sister coleman for our little
brother houser sporting TWO backpacks.
with two backpacks a piece, going under fallen trees was a bit tricky...
we took a few breaks along the way...

they were so happy to be in their tent, off of their feet!
the next morning, we had to wake early, eat breakfast, pack up, and head down the trail!
next on the schedule: girls camp!
i sense wayyyy too much excitement to be off the mountain!
here comes miranda and mcelle, happy and almost skipping down the mountain!

two men that definitely lightened the loads of several young women.

what a great adventure we had together.
we are thankful for the opportunity to serve and
expose the girls to a beautiful place.
we are blessed to live near the blue mountains --
we climbed to a fire lookout and the view
was spectacular!
what a triumph to accomplish this "hard thing" together...
